CITY TOUR LIMA

Enjoy a scenic tour of the historic center of Lima. We will view the historic colonial downtown Lima and the modern area where we will visit San Martin Square, Government Palace, Cathedral, Municipal Palace and the catacombs of San Francisco. Afterwards, we will continue our tour with El Rimac district visiting the Paseo de Aguas and Alameda de Los Descalzos then continue the visit to the modern area including San Isidro, Miraflores, and a beautiful panoramic view of the circuit of beaches and El Parque del Amor.

ILUMINATED LIMA AND THE MAGIC CIRCUIT OF FOUNTAINS

Enjoy a scenic tour of the historic center of colonial Lima with its various attractions such as La Plaza Grau, Plaza San Martin and Plaza Mayor with panoramic views of the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace, the Desamparados Station, and Convent San Francisco. Next we will visit one of the most attractive places of Lima, the Magic Circuit of Water. Extraordinary ornamental water displays that dance to the rhythm of classical Peruvian music forming different figures decorated with multicolored lights.

MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY, ANTHROPOLOGY AND HISTORY OF PERU

The Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology is the oldest museum in Peru. This guided tour reveals the museums exhibits which displays all the pre Inca cultures chronologically by geographic location. Ceramics, pieces of gold, stone, textiles, and mummies preserved in a manner that surprises even modern day experts.

MUSEUM LARCO HERRERA

This museum, considered one of the best museums in Latin America, contains the Exhibit of the Mochica. The museum is located in a regal mansion dating from the 18th century. Larco Museum has the most complete collection of gold and silver pieces of Peru, as well as, a great selection of erotic pottery.

RUINAS DE PACHÁCAMAC

Guided visit to the Pre – Inca ruins of Pachacámac, sacred area of worship of Wari, Ichma and Inca cultures since the beginning of the Christian era. Pachacámac is located 31 kms south of Lima. This citadel which was the most important religious center of indigenous people at the Peruvian coast in pre-Hispanic times, comprises temples, pyramids, and cemeteries. Notable temples include the Temple of the Sun and the notorious Temple of the Virgins of the Sun, or Acllahuasi. There is also an exhibit of the Pachacámac Idol which was considered the creator of the world and an oracle that predicted the future.
