Day 01: International Arrival - Lima

International arrival in Lima
Meeting at LimaAirport and transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 02: Lima: City Tour & Archaeological Museum

Morning free to rest after your international travel. We recommend you to sleep long enough to be ready to start this unforgettable journey through this wonderful country.

Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, guided city tour by the most attractive and important sites in Lima: the "City of Kings". The tour includes Lima s HistoricalCenter, visiting San Martin Square, the Main square, the GovernmentPalace, the City Hall, the Cathedral, the CathedralMuseum, the Church of Santo Domingo with the tombs of Saint Rose and Saint Martin of Porras and Lima s Colonial Balconies.

We will visit the Convent and Church of Saint Francisco. From here, we leave Lima downtown towards the district of Pueblo Libre to visit The Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology that comprises the biggest collection of pre-Hispanic objects, we then drive through the residential district of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing by the Huaca Pucllana: a ceremonial and administrative center of Lima Culture built in the II century A.C. that the Incas considered as "ñaupallaqta" or sacred town. We will also visit El Olivar Park with olives trees brought from Spain in the XV century, The central Park of Miraflores and Larcomar: a symbol of modern Lima and a Tourist and Entertainment center as well as a privileged site to enjoy an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and a marvellous sunset. Around 18:00 hours, transfer to the selected hotel for dinner. Evening free to rest as the next Day our guide will pick you up very early.

Day 03: Lima - Trujillo

Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and air connection to Trujillo.
Arrival to Trujillo and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 04: Trujillo: Temples of the Sun and the Moon - Huanchaco - Chan Chan.

Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and connection to Trujillo.
Reception in Trujillo and transfer to the selected hotel.

After the accommodation, excursion 15 minutes south of Trujillo to visit the enormous adobe constructions built by the Mochica culture in the 5th century, called Temple of the Sun, considered the largest adobe pyramid in Peru, and the Temple of the Moon, housing an extensive burial ground and some fine polychrome murals in which their deity is often printed. Is believed that both were complementary, one administrative and the other religious. Proceed to Huanchaco beach, well frequented by beach-goers and surfers, you will have the opportunity to appreciate, during lunch, the local fishermen surfing the waves in their traditional "Caballitos de Totora", little reed boats used for fishing since pre Inca times, by northern Peruvians.

In the afternoon, visit the largest mud archaeological complex of the pre-Hispanic America, Chan Chan, ancient capital of the Chimú Empire (13th Century), visiting the Temple del Arco Iris (rainbow), the site museum and the Tshudi Palace. 

Day 05: Trujillo - Chiclayo: Túcume pyramids

Early in the morning, after breakfast, transfer to Trujillo bus station to take bus to Chiclayo (2 hours 30 minutes aprox.). Upon arrival, transfer to your selected hotel.
After lunch, drive 40 minutes from Chiclayo to visit the archaeological complex of Túcume or Valley of the Pyramids, an important archaeological complex of the Lambayeque culture (BC 1000 / 1350 AD), consisting of pyramids from which the extensive pre-columbian urban site can be surveyed. 

Day 06: Chiclayo: Huaca Rajada – Sipán Royal Tombs Museum

After a typical northern breakfast, begin excursion to the impressive necropolis of Huaca Rajada, a Mochica funeral center where a great number of tombs have been discovered and where the tombs of the Old Lord of Sipan (3rd Century) and the Lord of Sipan (5th Century), famous for its objects in gold and semi-precious stones, were unearthed in the decade of 1980 s by Peruvian archaeologists led by Dr. Walter Alva. Transfer to your selected hotel.

In the afternoon, visit to the SipánRoyalTombsMuseum. 

Day 07: Chiclayo - Tarapoto

Breakfast in the hotel
Transfer to the airport and connection to Tarapoto.
Arrival to Tarapoto and transfer to Hotel Puerto Pumas.

Day 08: Tarapoto - Chachapoyas

Breakfast in the Lodge.
Transfer to Levanto district and visit to Yalape town, archaeological zone.
City Tour in Chachapoyas, antique main city in Peru oriental located beside the Marañón river.
We can meet the main square, the church, city hall, etc.
Overnight in Chachapoyas.

Day 09: Chachapoyas - Kuélap

Breakfast in Chachapoyas.
Excursion to the Kuélap fortress, citadel covered by vegetation and built in the top of a mountain. It’s very exciting.
Return to Pomacochas and overnight in Puerto Pumas Lodge.

Day 10: Chachapoyas - Tarapoto

Breakfast in the Lodge.
Transfer to Tarapoto.
Visit to Lamas folklorical city, located to 30 minutes of the Lodge. There are handicrafts stands and a native suburb called Wayku.
Reception, dinner and overnight in the Puerto Palmeras Lodge.

Day 11: Tarapoto– Laguna Azul

Breakfast in the Lodge.
Transfer to Sauce, trough the Marginal Sur road.
Arrival to Puerto López, and stroll around the Huallaga river in a typical bote.
In the trip, we can see the vegetation and the wild life.
Sauce is located near to La Laguna Azul (Blue Lagoon).
After the lunch, stroll around La Laguna Azul, visit to Dos de Mayo town. Arrival to Tucuna and small walk to Lago Lindo.

Return to the Lodge.
Dinner and overnigth in Puerto Patos Lodge.

Day 12: Tarapoto - Lima

Breakfast in the Lodge.
Transfer to Puerto Palmeras Lodge.
Free morning in Puerto Palmeras Lodge.
Final lunch.
Transfer to the Tarapoto airport and return to Lima.
Reception at the Lima airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13: Lima - International Departure

Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport and international connection.
