The Fertility Of The Earth
The ancient Peruvians were celebrating the fertility of the ground and of his animals in meetings fulfilled with coloring.
With pompoms of many colors, they were adorning the ears of his flames. And along with them, they were producing worship to Tayta Wamani, tutelary hill for whom they were depositing his gifts in the entrails of the Mother Earth called Pachamama. Today they keep on being a part of the typical clothing of the Andean settler.
In Huancavelica, region located in the south saw to more than three thousand meters high, the settlers celebrate every year the gifts of the nature and make for it multicolored pompoms. The craftsmen's own workshops are centers of training where the settlers learn the ancestral skills, a tradition that has been transmitted from generation to generation; from times inmemoriables, and with vision of future.
